  1. All riders must be assigned to a wagon and give the wagon boss a copy of Coggins test results and Health Certificates (issued within 30 days prior to start of the Trail Ride.)

  2. All riders must ride behind their assigned wagon in columns off two.

  3. All riders must display a current (2026) Northeastern Trail Ride's Badge (Button). Each person regardless of age must buy a badge to ride a horse or ride in a wagon. Badges must be visible and worn every day on the trail ride. NETRA 2026 window decals must be on your windshield at all times during the February Trail Ride.

  4. There will be no drinking or alcoholic beverages while the trail ride is in motion.

  5. There will be no firearms allowed. No fighting on the trail (zero tolerance). Any acts of excessive/obnoxious behavior will be grounds for immediate dismissal from the trail ride.

  6. No double riding will be allowed on the trail ride.

  7. Western type clothes - cowboy hats, western boots, jeans, and western shirts must be worn during the February Trail Ride. No tennis shoes, chukka boots, or baseball caps allowed.

  8. All wagon bosses will be responsible for the clean-up of their campsites and rest areas. Campsites will be inspected following each departure. All wagons should have trash bags on their wagons for trash.

  9. No stallions will be allowed on the trail.

  10. All animals (horses and mules) must have their shot and be in sound health and adequately nourished. Animals that appear sick or underfed will not be allowed on the trail.

  11. Do not tie any horses to the fence at any stop.

  12. Horses or mules measuring less than 48" will not be allowed on the trail.
